74 hours to the 26th (the average is 186.7 hours, so far we're at 39.7% of the average). As I mentioned before, this will probably be the gloomiest September ever (it's already the wettest).

Edit: I just found out that the gloomiest September in the period 1961-2000 had 123 sunshine hours, so the record will be shattered, as there is no way that we get to that amount even if the rest of the days get 100% of the possible sunshine.

Tallinn has 193 hours so far, I suspect a similar tally here.

We have had this discussion already. Neither station record sunshine. The stupid Met Office closed Church Fenton station in December last year, cos they're sh*t.
