Chisinau is pretty close, just a little drier. Fewer thunderstorms, most likely.

Thought Athens greece was gonna be exact but its indeed hotter, too. Maybe somwhere in Spain? i dont know where to look in USA, since i know the southern usa summers are hotter, but the northern usa summers seem cooler, and i think coastal california will be cooler as well. Damn.

Also, BA haves its summer data recolected from 1980 till 1990, while other places have the new data. If BA would have the new data i bet summers will be warmer. They have been consistently warmer each year, and January is always around the 22/32 mark, and february always averages highs above 30c. So BA is something like this:
Dec (June equivalent): 19/28
Jan (July): 22/32
Feb (August): 20/31
March (Sept): 17/27

Does somewhere in USA match this temps exactly? Humidity is around 65% in Dec/Jan and 70 in Feb/March. February always is more uncomfortably humid though, cause of the high temps.

anyways, can some american find me an USA match for summers only?

In europe im thinking somewhere in spain or italy could be, i dont think there could be a match northern than that.

Will be looking for madrid and rome stats.
The mid-Atlantic is pretty close in summer to BA.

Atlantic City, New Jersey - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not exact but pretty close.

mmmh, no, atlantic city is way more moderated that BA in the summer, specially in the lows!! Atlantic city looks 10 time better than BA, actually.
Richmond, Virginia, seem like a closest match.

It's hard to find a match for Vancouver in terms of both precipitation and sunshine AND temperatures.

Temperatures are very close to inland spots in England:

Birmingham - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In terms of rain and sunshine, some spot between these two cities in Chile ( not far from each other ) would be a good match:

Valdivia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ( slightly too wet, cloudy )

Temuco - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ( slightly too dry, sunny )

Bucharest - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

June and August a few degrees too warm

Ljubljana - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

has highs about 2°F too cold.

Valdiva is the closest match for Motueka by far. Slightly drier and slightly less sun than here, but temps nearly spot on. It would be interesting to visit during summer.

All the other match ups are very interesting, keep them coming.

Brisbane falls into the humid sub-tropical climate range. I haven't found a really close match, but a couple of contenders are:

1) Jacksonville, FL
Jacksonville, Florida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

2) Durban, South Africa
Durban - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brisbane sits somewhere in the middle between the two. It has warmer summers than Durban, but cooler winters. It is also sunnier than Durban.

Compared to Jacksonville, Brisbane has cooler summers, warmer winters, and marginally less sunshine (Brisbane's wikipedia sunshine is overstated by 100-200 hours).

Closest to Buxton, probably Tromso, Norway, Mt Washington, or Rekivik, Iceland.
