This morning northeastern So. Dak., southeastern No. Dak. and a huge part of Mn. have been having severe summer storms. They've had thousands of lightning strikes and several tornado warnings. Kind of strange for this time of year. Hopefully everyone turned out ok.

It's so nice and warm here~supposed to be in the upper 80s today. It was originally sunny, but has now turned very cloud and very windy. Oh well, at least it's warm.

You haven't been blown away yet, have you?

It's the mid 70's today...not a cloud in the sky! Absolutely beautiful.

Hopefully everyone turned out ok. It was north and also northeast of me. All we had was a lot of WIND today, but that's somewhat normal around here. It turned out that we had a very nice and warm and humid day.

MN. must've been plagued with storms throughout a good part of the day yesterday. Unfortunately, the news this morning said that a 13 year old boy drowned in the evening.

I know their tornado season begins in June, but I didn't know it went on until September. It's kind of like Texas when we have tornadoes in December. It isn't supposed to be that way.

We have tornado season all year long now. Has been this way for the past few years here. I remember one December it was really deadly around here. It also seems our tornados have been larger lately as well.

We need rain..I heard that we are 14 inches below our average. It has been such a hot dry summer here that I haven;t even been out much to do any yard work..It is still hot during the days. Was 92 today..
