Easter Island - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

B+ Wish the average highs were a couple of degrees higher, the record lows look a bit off though.

C-

Lack of oppressive heat saves it from a D or F. Rainfall is decent and not too much sunshine would make it more appealing.

The record low for Easter Island looks like it's 7.2C (45F)

A-, very temperate but still subtropical, could do with a slightly colder winter, especially minimums.
Overall very agreeable year round temperatures, and consistent rainfall with an autumn peak - which is similar to here.
Surprised about the record highs of 37C, it is a long way from any other land masses.
Places like Norfolk Island have never exceeded 29C.

A. The only problem with this climate is the gloomy winter, according to this source: Easter Island Climate Guide, Chile | World Climate Guide

Although Easter Island has 2700 annual sunshine hours, it seems to have an abrupt drop in sunshine during the winter months.

Apart from this, Easter Island is one of the very best climates in the world in my view.

B+ as it seems mild year round. Would like warmer summers. Looking at the wiki pic it seems coco palms flourish there. I would have thought it was not warm enough as coco palms like 80F+ for some part of the year. Those temps look never warm enough to give any decent growth.
