July 2006, hottest on record. Shame I was in Buxton though, would have been much hotter at my former home of Windsor, Berkshire. We had 281 hours sun and an average high of 74°F that month in Buxton, the normal avg. high is 65°F.

My Electric bill just came. No surprise. Highest bill in years at $200 for the month. Look at the temp average this August vs last August

My Central A/C has not stopped for more than 3 hours (even at night!). 80s again today and muggy (not as bad but still disgusting with dewpoints near 60)

My gas + electricity was $52 last month (split with several others).

Today was perfect. Interesting clouds around sunset.

I don't think I've turned on my A/C at all this week. It's been in the low 80s during the afternoon and low 60s at night. The upstairs has stayed at a tolerable temperature (window has been open for days now). I've been working outside and I can't complain. Forecast for the upcoming week is looking even better with highs in the 70s to around 80 and lows in the 50s. I see a low of 50 F forecasted for Sunday night.

I read "a high of 50 F forecasted" and I was like "impossible!!!!" But yes very good weather coming up, one last warm day tomorrow and then nothing above 81.

Weather Station History : Weather Underground

This station (closest to me) recorded a max dew point of 70.2F/21.2C at 6PM. Out at the Eugene airport the max dew point was 65F at 6pm. It's a lot farther west though than my location. This is really humid for Oregon!

Default August 17 Morning Temps

Boy do I wish I was in northern Minnesota right now. 850 temps are in single digits(C) over the Upper Mid West.
