A great start to the winter. Below freezing nights and 15-18C/59-64F days for the last week or so. a crackling frost with ice edges on the creek this morning from the -4.5C/26F frost last night. Plenty of sunny days as well.

Some rain would be nice, as the water tanks are getting low.

Fun if you don't have any outside plans - eg like laying the foundations for a new house, retaining walls etc.
Otherwise I couldn't care less.
We don't need a repeat of the June 2007 Hunter and Central Coast floods - and it appears the Hunter coast may cop the worst of an intense east coast low pressure system.

It looks like showers increasing to rain today, and for the whole week, and temps in the mid-teens.

^^It's the same for us, we typically average around 18.5C as a June maximum we still haven't seen a day below this temperature since last spring!

Persistent N/NE winds keeping it warm here, 24C here today and mostly cloudy. Will stay warm and cloudy with a few showers forecast mid-week, a bit unusual to see cloud hang around here without much rain.

Man. 3/06: 27°C/16°C
It would be a perfect summer day, but, hey, we're in June already....
The best part of the year here was the first half of may... There were cozy gloomy days with drizzle and 19°C at noon and glorious 18°C/11°C sunny days. But the last week of the month was pretty much summer weather.

I envy you New Zealand people...
