1,300 - 1,999 hours ideally

can tolerate down to 1000 hours easily, since I live in a very cloud climate, and the sunshine hours here are actually fine by me.

I chose 2,000 to 2,299 but ....

I tend to feel better when it's sunny.
Gloomy cloudy days sometimes make me feel gloomy and sluggish

2,600 to 2,899 for me.

I like a mix of sun and clouds, long stretches of sunshine or cloudiness become monotonous very quickly for me.

Interesting. I thought about this for a bit, and I chose 2600-2899, and it seemed like a lot of other folks thought the same thing. I completely agree that super sunny or super gloomy weather is a boring. I like a nice mixture, along with seasons.

3,200 to 3,499 top preference, but 3500+ also excellent. The rest of the categories in the obvious descending order of preference.

Where I live I get 1750 hours annually. It can be a bit too much at times and so I picked the 1400+ category.

I prefer a mixture of sun and clouds that is slanted towards clouds. It starts to get truly cloudy in the sub-1000 hour range and I begin to go crazy from too much sun when it's in excess of 2400 hours, so 1000-2400 hours for me. The middle of this range, 1700 hours, is about ideal. I can well tolerate anything down to the cloudiest spots that currently exist on the planet. Since 1700 hours is at the edge of two categories, I choose the 1400-1700 hour option because I tolerate cloudier weather better than sunnier weather.
