C. I like a little snow, but I think that much would just become incredibly inconvenient and get old very quickly to me. If it weren't for the super high snowfall, this climate would probably be a B+ or A- for me.

B - summers are a little cool and dry for my tastes, but tolerable. Winters are awesome... I love copious amounts of snow.

Port Mare's climate is not very unlike Mo i Rana, Norway
Mo i Rana - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mo I Rana is a little cooler in summer, but a little milder in December and March.
Mo also get a lot of snow, as precipitation is 1400 mm/year, and spring and summer is driest, so a lot of that precipitaton will fall as snow.
Mo i Rana is wet as it is close to mountains, particularly Saltfjellet.
Saltfjellet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mo i Rana is located at the head of a long but not wide fjord, some distance from the sea, so winteres are cold enough for a snowpack holding on from November to early April.
