I just checked, July here is 65/86, I don't know about dew points but they seem really high to me, the area is really humid most of the year and wind is almost unheard of. DC is slightly hotter in July but we're hotter in Tx than NYC or New England. Also, we're at 44 north.

Real Spring: Sunshine and Showers, average max temp between 10c to 22c and average min temp between 0 and 14c.
Real Summer: Wall to wall sun, average max temp above 30c, average minimum above 15c
Real Autumn: Storm followed by a sunny day, followed by another storm, very windy, max temps between 10c and 24c and average min temps between 5c and 14c
Real Winter: Snowy or rainy and dull, max temp below 10c and min temp below 2c.
This is probably what most people would call a real Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

However:
Ideal Spring: Sunshine and Showers, average max temp between 22c to 30c and average min temp between 10c and 15c.
Ideal Summer: Sunshine with rainy days every now and then, average max temp above 32c and average min above 15c.
Ideal Autumn: Sunshine and Showers, average max temp between 24c to 32c and average min temp between 10c and 15c.
Ideal Winter: Sunshine and Showers, average max between 18c to 28c and average min between 5c and 10c.
This is what I my personal Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter would be like...

A real summer is at least 10F warmer than winter and a real winter is at least 10F cooler than summer. It's all relative.

Your dew points average around 60-61°F. That's what I get. DC is a lot more humid than here.

It already feels very humid to me... I sweat a lot more here than what I experienced in various mediterranean climates where it could be hotter but where you only sweated if you moved, and you could dry in the sun. The air feels heavy here. I wonder how it must be in southeastern USA...

In places like Florida the winters can be so bone dry that they have brush fires when the wind blows over the dry landscape. I guess the dry Med summer must have some degree of less humid air?
Most of the southeastern U.S. doesn't have a true dry season. Winter is actually a pretty wet season for a large part of the SE U.S, outside of Florida. But there can still be times of low humidity.

In my opinion, it needs to be about a 20 F difference between the seasons. But I agree, it's all relative.
