The summers are ridiculously unappealing to me. Too warm with no relief. Way too wet. The monsoon influences are too much for me. Even their dry season is far too wet.

C because of the ghastly lack of sun, and July and August are a bit too hot.

I like Taichung much better.

I agree, except I wouldn't give it a C+.

This is a disgusting, my worst nightmare type of climate.

D+. Too hot and humid year, especially in summer. Winters provide a little bit of relief from the steamy humidity but are still way too warm for "winter" IMO. Also the low sunshine hours indicate that the rain is more constant in the day rather than coming in brief heavy thunderstorms. So also too rainy as well.

As someone who will be there soon in December 13-16, I noticed an interesting quirk in its climate: according to darksky.net, it's actually colder there in 13-16 than in 23-26. Or 19-22 for that matter, when the weather is often 26-29 C in the afternoon.

C-. For being somewhat too warm and wet in general while being way too cloudy and extremely prone to typhoons. It still avoids a D as it fits a general humid subtropical pattern without getting ridiculous the way Keelung is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keelung#Climate

I voted D when I had slightly different weather/climate preferences. I wish I could take back that vote.
