This heat is so tiring.....its pretty pathetic to be confined to indoors and A/C all summer long...
Yes, since fall of '11 we've pretty much been trapped inside with either heating needs or cooling needs with little to no down time for our furnace.
I love to bicycle but this year has been a total bust for me since my 66 yr old body doesn't deal with heat like I used to. Damn!! Maybe I'll get a little time to ride before winter sets in this fall.
I almost hate to say this or do so while (virtually) running and blocking the incoming bombs hurled my way but I don't think we've seen more than one day over 80 degrees since Febuary here in San Diego- the whole summer has been about 74 - we have to put on long sleaves in the evening.
It'll probably warm up a bit in Sep. but so far ridiculously and deliciously mild is the word!

I'm not sure it had reached more than mid 70s here either until yesterday, and now low 80s today. Should be more of the same tomorrow, and then back into the low to mid 70s for the rest of the week. I swear my heat tolerance has plummeted even more since I moved here, and I've only been here a year.
There was a high here today of 75F/24C, with a high yesterday of 74F/23C. The forecast for tomorrow is...76F/25C! Unfortunately, it'll get real hot around Monday or Tuesday, with highs reaching about 84F/29C.
