There was a hard freeze last night, my car was covered in a layer of ice in the morning. It snowed twice today and there's sleet coming down even now but nothing has accumulated yet. -9°C is predicted for Sunday, nights will stay below freezing and on some days highs will be as low as 2°C.

What can I say? I love it.

48/9c. Cloudy, waiting on the cold front coming through. It is currently up around the North West of Scotland should be here in a few hours, upto -8c uppers there now. Should be a large drop in temperature, as it is now around 1c uppers here. NW scotland is only 250 miles away.

They give me 5c for tomorrow which is a surprise from them.

Looks like we got 3 inches or so, considering the melting. It is now below freezing, but roads are still warm

Lucky you. Its such a pity there weren't more showers about tomorrow and it wasn't a tad colder and then we could've got that.

Look at the temperature gradient.

-10c up at Shetland and +10c in sw england.

Amazing for the British isles.

Surprisingly it doesn't look like there is going to be much activity on the cold front tonight, infact when the front comes through there will be no rain!

Are these surface temps or higher levels in the atmosphere?
