Hmm, talking about unseasonal weather I don't really mind September being sunny and really dry as it can still feel pleasantly warm, but I'll be quite happy if it rains every day in October/November. We can't (early Oct 2011/late Nov 2010 freakshows not included) get proper warmth or cold, so we might as well get the mild SW'lies to top up the rain totals then without getting a winter or a summer that doesn't feel the slightest bit seasonal.

This week has been beautiful, love the coolness (highs in mid 60s to low 70s, or 18-22C). Doesn't look like there are any warmups in the near future. So awesome, it's times like this when I realize why I rated this a B+ climate

Only got up to 68F today after a low of 50F (20C/10C). Brr. Morning was cloudy and the sun didn't show itself until 1PM or so.

Let it snow Let it Snow Let it Snow. Slowly but surely its dropping down in the East.

From NWS VT

WILL BE COLD ENOUGH TO SUPPORT
SOME SNOW ABOVE 4000 FT...ESPECIALLY DACKS WHERE SOME LAKE
ENHANCED MOISTURE WL BE AVAILABLE OFF LAKE ONTARIO.

ALSO...GIVEN POSITION OF WRAP AROUND MOISTURE AND THERMAL PROFILES...WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED TO SEE SOME SNOW SHOWER ACTIVITY SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY FROM MOUNT MANSFIELD TO JAY PEAK...WITH A DUSTING OR SO POSSIBLE.

GIVEN THE POTENTIAL HAVE I HAVE UTILIZED THE WINTER WX
TOOL FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR AND PLACED SOME RAIN/SNOW SHOWERS INTO THE GRIDS ABOVE 4000 FT

Ditto here.

Been a nice fall so far, looks like temps forecast to be slightly below normal
for the rest of the month. I don't mind, I hope october turns out to be a winner too,
just like last year

Watch the radar Saturday morning. Might see some blues on it over Minnesota and Wisconsin. Snow is expected in some areas.

Then Monday over the Adirondaks of NY but no accumulations since moisture is limited and temps are marginal.

Slowly but surely we are transitioning to winter..... Oh wait.... It just turned Spring this week.
