The chances for 90 F heat are certainly diminishing, but there's always the possibility of another short burst of heat within the next month or so.

I hope the 90 degree days are over, the last thing I want to see is this again.

The 26C you had at the end of Oct is more impressive than the 32C at the start in my opinion

That's arguable but it was quite impressive. However the 26C on the 23rd was nowhere near a record high, the record for that day was 30C!!! but the one on the 22nd was a record. Crazy how much some of the records vary day by day. Also the 30C day was already quarter way through the month, so it was quite an accomplishment. If it happened on, say, the 1st of October, then you could make a case. I think that was the warmest October on record here, it was almost like an extra month of summer! And if it weren't for those 50 degree days in the last week then it would've been even warmer! And yet despite all the warmth a couple of frosts still managed to sneak in.

Wow, I'm in PA and we've yet to have a frost in my region. The coldest it got was 49°F for one night, and it's been climbing back up until today. Rest of this week is settled around 75°F. Perfect

90s are 100% done this year.

80s are done north of NYC. Maybe 3 more at most.
