Interesting. Here, December is usually warmer than other winter months. I suppose, its because Kharkiv is less continental in Saskatoon, so it has more seasonal lag.

Here is how the 30 year running averages for January and December have changed over the past century or so in Vancouver. Notice that December has not changed, while January has increased significantly. The big shift started about 1979. Temperature is shown on the Y-axis in degrees C.

I hate July for the heat and humidity. I also hate April since it signals an end to winter and the coming of hotter, more humid weather. My favorite months, on the other hand, would be Dec-Feb (meteorological winter).

All winter months, February is slightly better for longer daylight though, and the chance of some almost warm days in the second half of the month.

November is a very poor month also.. very low chance of snow, very low chance of any warm weather.. I don't like cold weather but I would rather it was snowing than 8C and pouring with rain and wind.

Do you mean this poem? Psh, November hasn't been as bleak at that so far, not all the time at least

I enjoy all months but Jan-Feb have the latest sunrises and cloudy mornings (combo dark mornings)
Voted for Jan though. Atleast in Feb I can looking forward to lesser morning clouds and earlier sunrises.
Rainfall and equation of time is the only variables in the deep tropics.

It is difficult to decide between January and July (the coldest and the hottest month, subsequently).

November. Cold, dark, cloudy, and wet. December is pretty bad too, but at least it has Christmas.

I'll say January for coldest temperatures. It was close though, since December is the cloudiest. But still January is sunny less than half the time on average.

January, at least this year. It was unseasonably very warm and dry, right in the middle of the rainy season too. That month was a total drag. Normally, I suppose September would get my vote since it can be the hottest month of the year here every few years (as it was this year). It can take forever for the first sign of Autumn to arrive here.

November is a great month here. Cooler days, a few storms (usually), the rainy season really begins to pick up, and everything just feels right (after 6+ months of heat and no rain at all). I like November.
