I don't care what the daytime maximum is
as long as after sunset it's cooler than 85 F/30 C
and overnight it does not drop below 60 F/ 16 C
An ideal Halloween would be 82 F/28 C at the start of the night,
cooling to 75 F/24 C by sometime between 10pm and midnight,
then finally dropping down to 69-72 F/20-22 C before Nov 1st's sunrise.
I suppose in the USA,
that would mean my ideal Halloween would be in Miami or Honolulu.
The perfect Haloween weather. Cold and Snowy like last year. What a disaster state wide though. 2nd picture says it all. Leaves on the tree, tree splits from weight of snow, Haloween decorations.
They cancelled Halloween Trick or Treating in Connecticut.
Perfect halloween for me would be daytime temps in the high 60s, dropping to 50s in the evening. Anything lower and the party girls might actually wear clothes.
I would love that above picture to be reality.. the red leaves with snow just looks stunning.
It sure looks pretty but looks can be deceiving. That storm was the worst thing I've ever experienced!!! I had no power for 4 days straight and it was basically an icebox in my house. House temps hovered around 50 most of the time. Oh, and I had to take a shower with ice cold water which felt like 33 degree rain since there was no heat. I was cold even with 3 blankets and a jacket on at night. Heck, at times it felt warmer outside than inside! And my second favorite holiday was ruined completely (I'm still a teenager so I still go trick or treating). And on top of that I was so bored!!! No computer, no TV, no video games, too much snow and too cold out to do outdoor activites, and I could only read until around 6 PM because that's when it got dark. Before Snowtober the longest time I went without power was only about 10 hours with Irene, and before that it was only like 3 hours! Like I said, never again please!!!
