^^^ Agreed.
In Paris I've experienced white Thanksgiving (lol), Christmas, NYE, Valentine's and Easter. I've experienced a white Halloween in the Pyrenees montains, but never a white May Day.

Considering it has snowed here before in July We probably have seen a white may day just probably not in my lifetime. Maybe in the last 50 years.

Only one white holiday here that I can remember, and that was Christmas 2009. We had a blizzard on December 19 and the snow was still on the ground. Otherwise, snowstorms are too infrequent and snow melts too fast to have many white Christmases here.

I remember on Halloween back almost 20 years ago that was really cold, but the snow come on November 1st. Our Halloweens have been really nice since our climate has changed. We've had them in the 70's. I also remember some Thanksgivings in the 70's and some with snow. Just this week it was 80 degrees one day and 40 degrees the next. The weather has always been fickle here in the windy city.

I"ve seen pretty much all of them including a very, very rare White Halloween in Tennessee crossing the Appalacians. There was even a bit of snow in Memphis, believe it or not. Realistically, snow before Christmas in Tennessee is pretty rare. In northern Colorado, however, all of the scenarios listed are quite possible and not terribly rare. Last Oct. 26 we had a 12" snowfall on Oct. 26-27, which wreaked havoc on trees that had not yet shed their foliage. On the Front Range, there is recorded average snowfall every month of the year except for July and August.

All of them, between the Southern and Northern Hemisphere. There is often a late flick of snow on the hills around here at Christmas/New Year. Sometimes rather more than a flick as well.

White Halloween - Last year
White Thanksgiving - 2010
White Christmas - 2002 I think
White New Year's - 2009
White Valentine's Day - 2008
White Easter - None that I can recall
White May Day - It has never snowed in May here.

Some holidays had multiple white ones but I just listed the most recent ones.

Just because it's cold doesn't mean it snows though. It has snowed near Christmastime though, but just not on the actual day. Like in 2010, no snow on Christmas but we had a big blizzard just a day later.
