Le Dump is an island located at S56°, E104°. It is in one of the cloudiest regions in the world. The Island is roughly 28km long by 9km wide oriented north-south. There are mountains up to 1500m high along the length of the island. The weather station is located on the west side of the island, where the endless westerly winds bring near continuous cloud and drizzly light rain. Worse yet, these clouds get banked up against the mountains, amplifying the cloudiness. This makes the station even cloudier than other notorious subarctic islands and is officially the cloudiest place on Earth.
The island was named by a french expedition who set up a base on the island in 1934. The incessant wind, drizzle, light rain, biting cold windchill and low cloud prompted the expedition party to name the island "Le Dump", literal translation "A Dump". The french government relinquished ownership of the island, citing "our nation shall not be associated with a climate so s**t". The Sunland government took control of the Island in 1969 and the base is used for climatic and atmospheric research.
Actually, it's not too bad. 540 sun hours per year is enough for some sunshine, the winter temperatures aren't bad (enough to produce some good slushy snow totals), and though the summers are lacking they do meet minimum requirements. I rate it a B.
Love that type of weather, but would get tired of it all year. Would prefer some warmer temperatures and more variety. Can't believe I'm saying this, but more sun would be nice too.
D- The obvious drizzle. Hate it hate it. Temps are ok, too cloudy though. I require clear night skies. You should do a climate for the leeward side of Le Dump

The leeward side is an improvement as the cloud gets banked up against the windward side mountains. Still gloomy though, but one noticable difference is the cloudiness and cooler lows at night due to somewhat "clearer" skies.
