The dry season, however, with the exception of those absurdly high lows (in February and March), look quite nice.

I like this climate except for the uncomfortably high lows in DJF. Although it would be pretty interesting to experience those lows after a very snowy and reasonably cold winter.

November and March look nice though.

A solid B for me.

D. Winter's good, but it doesn't balance the nasty heat of the hotter months. 30C lows are crazy!

December, January and February are ridiculous, but I get that for six months here in Florida, so only three months would seem like a blessing. Too much sun, though.

30c average low is something that either i ve never seen in any climate or only in a few middle-eastern or african ones??

seriously, how many places get a 30c AVERAGE LOW?? I mean, i know there are a lot of places with average highs above 40c even in USA, but 30c average low?? I dont think i ever see that in a climate.

Needles to say, that fact alone (even if the rest of the months were wonderful, wich they arent) would guarantee this climate an insant F from me.

I hate the heat, but what i hate the most are HOT NIGHTS. Arei Fjord is clearly not for me.

Few places have a month with 30C average low, it's about the most that any place gets (but perhaps Dallol gets much more?). Some places with a month with 30C low or close to it from different areas of Earth:

Desert locations:
  • Taoudenni (July, 29.6C)
Holy **** I've found a Sahara equivalent of Death Valley if those stats are right!

Non-desert locations:
  • Agra (June, 28.9C)
Cities in the Ganges valley have average lows like this before the monsoon season.
  • Cockatoo Island (December, 27.6C)
An island off northwestern Australia, has truly remarkable lows (around 27C) throughout the wet season and the highest at the wet season beginning and end. The coldest month's average low is 22.1C and the coldest it has ever been is 17.1C. The year-round average daily low is 25.5C. This is probably the highest in the world (Anyone knows a counterexample? Nauru with 25.0C and Mecca with 24.55C come close [EDIT: Lodwar pwns Cockatoo Island by a half degree but those stats (as well as those for Nauru) are in whole degrees C so it's quite inaccurate]). Too bad the station has been closed.

You're right, 30C average low is very rare on Earth and limited to desert locations although there are some non-desert places not far away from having it. All places with average lows this high are (sub)tropical warm-winter locations, the combination of a summer with a 30C average low in July and the cold snowy winter is what makes Arei Fjord really unique. Nothing like this exists on Earth.

Turpan is a warm place that has even greater annual range of temperatures than Arei Fjord: it has the same monthly mean in the warmest month, its very hot period in summer is longer, and it has colder winter. It's a desert place though, so no heaps of snow and thunderstorms as in Arei Fjord.

A solid B. Hot season is hotter than all earthly climates of it's type, but I can handle them. Snow season is awesome!
