It's Malaysia in the foothills (1220 m high) of Mount Kinabalu. As I said earlier, the climate type is most likely a borderline Cfb/Af or cool Af. Rainfall is at least 100" annually. The nearby coastal town of Kota Kinabalu has over 100" of rain itself.
