Probably 7 months would be ideal for me. I like 70 degree weather, but I also need some cool weather from time to time to make things interesting. The same temperature every day for the whole year would be boring.

Only July averages a high of 70°F here and that's quite enough. July is usually the breaking point when I really start to miss cold weather again.

70 degrees is a good average high for winter, so in a perfect climate about 330-40 days a year reach and exceed it.

I'd like average highs of 70f year round please  Not very much over at all. Maybe a month or two where it gets in the low-mid 80's, and a month or two where it's closer to 60's.
Oh, and not too much rain. Less than 30" per year.
