Inspired by the best forecast for you thread, show us the worst forecasts in your country according to your preferences.

For mainland Australia, it would have to be Portland, Victoria for an actual town near sea level. Portland is a subarctic maritime climate which is so cold in summer that it makes Melbourne look like freaking Bangkok. The reason? It is exposed to the cold open ocean and lies on a peninsula surrounded on 3 sides by said freezing ocean so obviously sea breezes and onshore flow will dominate.

I've actually been to this town in January twice, and you had to wear a jacket when fishing out on the pier because of the cold onshore winds. The weather both times was nothing short of repulsive for the entire week stay both times

St Mary's, the largest island in the Scilly Isles, just below 50 degrees north. It is just ridiculous how mild this place is.

How about the worst? I assume it's Buxton (coldest town on earth apparently).

Coldest town in England, I've never exaggerated about that or said it was the coldest town on earth. You're mistaking me with people who say other places are subarctic. I didn't say that.

The worst forecast in the UK is obviously Cairngorm... do people even live there? I know there's a hotel there.

A close contender is Penzance

In fact, it almost looks worse.

If we're talking the worst weather in the world, for me it would have to be Bossangoa. Mid to upper 90's with high humidity in early Winter. It can't get much worse than that.
