There is no question that the earth is getting warmer. I think that the change is accelerating beyond our most pessimistic predictions. I used to think I would be dead and gone before it hit the fan, but now I'm not so sure.
Another load of piping hot global warming alarmist bullcrap
The funniest joke is when I heard that even if we stopped emitting CO2 entirely, which means taking us back to 1749; the year before the Industrial Revolution began, temperatures would NOT fall. These so-called solutions being put forth, the biggest one being taxing CO2, will only slow the rate of increase, not reverse anything. The only way to reverse CO2 emissions is to take all of humanity back to no later than 1749, or finally invent nuclear fusion that will most all fossil fuel usage. Horribly inefficient, toxic, expensive solar panels will not do for the foreseeable future, wind turbines will NEVER take off from the ground, so to speak; or whatever else they are proposing. You don't need a PhD or read scientific blogs or opinions to know the "solutions" being proposed is pure BS.

its all bullcrap man, nothing but an excuse by dickhole governments to make money as is the case here with our carrot head communist prime minister. I've never seen a year as cold and cloudy and wet (all of it drizzle and light rain falling over 20-22 days each month from May to Sept) in my entire ****en life here.
Global warming is the biggest money making scam in history, it's a shame that the biggest criminals of this crime, the governments are getting away with it. Hope they die

Reducing the amount of CO2 pumped into the atmosphere now will obviously slow the rate of committed rises in temperature in the future. Even if you take climate out of the equation, it would surely make sense to start investing more into renewable energies rather than living off the limited supplies of fossil fuels.
There is huge growth and potential for further development of renewable energy, wind power is increasing it's energy output by 25% each year. If the political will was there it would be quite possible to transition to 100% renewable energy in around 20 years.

How is that a problem? The purpose of the solutions is to prevent rapid warming and have mild warming instead, not to reverse anything. Mild warming doesn't doesn't sound like a bad deal, I certainly don't want temperatures to fall. But extreme warming (from the OP's maps) sounds unpleasant.
Of the practicality of solar, there's another thread about that; but otherwise we're getting off topic for the weather forum.
