Strictly climate-wise, I'd go with Honolulu for warmer winters and much milder record lows.

Tough choice. I'd probably go for Honolulu due to the more comfortable summers (a little cooler with much lower dew points). Miami does have a more interesting climate though with many thunderstorms and the possibility of winter cold snaps.

Both are extremely appealing but Honolulu is the closest of the two to my idea of perfection that I'll go with it

Similar sentiments to the posters that sit on the warm/sunny side of the line. Honolulu as well. I seem to be one of these rare types that prefers predictable, warm (but not too hot) climates.

Miami Beach as it's wetter and stormier.

I like Honolulu for it's warmer winter, but I know I won't be able to go every winter. I heard it costs $10K for 2 weeks (air tickets, hotels blah blah blah), so I am willing to settle with Miami or S FL where I can stretch my hard earned $ better, I could get months in S FL for just 2 weeks in Honolulu.

$10k for 2 weeks in Honolulu?!? Where are you flying from & planning to stay at those prices?!

I have been there for up to 3 weeks at a time (from the UK) & flights/hotel have only cost around £1500/$2400, obviously food/drink/spending money on top of that, but unless you are planning to fly first class & stay in the swankiest hotel, it can certainly be done a lot cheaper than $10K...

I even went on a couple of week long cruises around the Hawaiian islands (with a week in a hotel too) & it still didn't cost that much more...
