The average high and low temps for Christmas Day here in Los Angeles are 67 & 47, so temps into the 70s and occassionally the eighties have been known to occur.

Well, it isn't looking too bad as we are supposedly getting some snow on christmas day.

It obviously won't lie and will probably be a flurry, but its soo much better than 60f!

I just wish, we could get a christmas card scence like 2010 again

Who's getting snow Christmas Day??

All forecasts are still for an Atlantic driven Christmas, maybe a brief E'ly or NE'ly effecting northern Britain, but any snow would be reserved for mountain tops...

Thankfully never, the record high is 14°C (57°F) in December.

It could be possible in February though here the highest ever is 15.5°C or exactly 60°F.

Haven't felt 70F since October.

Average absolute max in November is 74 so it's been even worse than usual. For December it's 65 and in 2014 we hit 62.

So far this cool season my south florida location has had 12 days which have failed to reach 70F and 0 which have failed to reach 60F. we usually record about 20-25 days which fail to reach 70F each winter and 1-5 which fail to hit 60F. To my everlasting delight we are looking at a week long stretch starting tomorrow where 70F will not be reached and a high below 60F is out of the question while lows dive into the lower 40s.

For the past two winters, 70s and low 80s have been the norm with occasional upper 80s and low 90s in selected microclimates. Unfortunately for us, winter heat is paired with drought. Our climate won't allow us to get warm weather paired with rain.
We had a stretch of highs in the 50s around New Year's but a few years ago, 50s in winter were more common than 80s. Now it's reversed.

Absolutely no chance here. In fact, according to the latest 10 years or so average, New York (La Guardia) has milder winters than Buxton, going by mean temperatures. They have colder lows in Jan+Feb, but much milder highs. Their December is warmer I believe for lows and highs.
