I know it's early days but lets have a bit of fun and predict the weather for Christmas in your area.

It's a very long way out and will no doubt change, but GFS is already hinting at horrible weather for christmas.

Melbourne

Christmas Eve

Cold and mostly cloudy with some morning drizzle. Moderate SW winds easing.

Low 12 / high 20°C

Christmas Day
Cool to cold and mostly cloudy. Morning drizzle clearing. Light S/SW winds

Low 11 / high 22°C

Here's what Accu Weather is saying. I don't use this site, but it's the only one that goes that far out. Of course take it with a grain of salt:

12/24 - Cloudy
High 38. Low 19.

12/25 - Cloudy
High 31. Low 15.

Going by Accuweather as well here:

High: -7°C (19°F).
Low: -10°C (14°F).
Mostly sunny.

Looking to be a beautiful day from this far out.

Accuweather has 6.3cm/2.5 inches of snow falling on Christmas Eve night and Day. If it happens, then cool, a white Christmas... if not, ah well.

I would rather see 6 inches of snow if it fell the day after than 2.5 inches on Christmas itself.

Accuweather says 41 / 24 (5c/-4.4c) and 41 / 25 (5c/-3.9c) and cloudy for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, respectively. I don't mind the temperatures, but I don't like the idea of the clouds. I love sunny but chilly Christmases. Of course, it's still way too far out to predict the weather, so I'm not too upset.

Default Accuweather is useless

Accuweather flops more than a Mitt Romney. Just a week ago they had consistent cold and snow on 6 of the 25 days. Now all this has mysteriously disappeared. What is the use, other than hype fodder, for a 25 day forecast that changes drastically 100% of the time?

I look for Christmas eve and Christmas day to be sunny with above normal temperatures on The Front Range. This forecast is a safe bet, no models required.
