Sydney for me. A far greater range of plants would be able to be grown.

Myrtle Beach still looks like an okay climate though.

They both have pretty decent climates if you like warmth, though Sydney would never get arctic blasts like Myrtle Beach.

I would've used Sydney Airport climate station for a fairer comparison since, like the Myrtle Beach station, it sits right near the sea. Canterbury is 11km west of Sydney CBD (or 11km inland). Also, the Canterbury data is only 18 years old - So it's a bit too recent.
