I don't even need to look at the links to know Akita has a climate more to my liking. The summers there are very nice and winter gets sufficient snowfall. Summer sunshine is also very good, especially with that amount of precipitation. Akita gets an A- from me and Gdansk gets a C+.

Gdansk for me. Summers in the 60s with still decent winters is great

They're both D/D-/E+ climates, but as sunshine totals are similar, the drier Gdansk takes it easily.

Both are quite bad. Sunshine numbers are really bad, as are the near 200 precipitation days. I think I'll go with Akita, though, for better summers.

I picked Akita for being snowier, but I'm not so sure now. Summer lows look awful.
