really? don't you guys get cold fronts in the summer that give you days in the 60s?
He's factoring in humidity. But even without, 60s are rather rare. We get about 1 day / month in both July and August with a high in the 60s. And it would be a cloudy day, probably accompanied by heavy rain. June it's more likely (4 days/month), but early June is a transition time but not quite like the rest of summer.
High Temperatures in the 60's F are what is usually considered as record low high temperatures here in Indianapolis, Indiana, rarely the lower 70's F are also considered as record cold for being in summer season. Record Lows(Minimums) are usually in the 40's or 50's F which is cold for summer in Indy.

Thankfully, this year we did. We were 2 F from the record low in August this year with a low temperature of 49 F. The high was 68 F that day. First time ever I wore long sleeves on a summer morning. It happens very rarely though.
