take a look at the HPC forecast:



Eastern Massachusetts is forecast to get over two inches of liquid precipitation. In the form of snow, this will be at least two feet.

Highest snow total was 38 inches in Milford, CT. 24 inches here. 25-28 inches in Boston. Eastern LI 24-30 inches.

According to CBS, the highest snow total was 40 inches in Sheldon, CT.

Boo...what kind of wimpish winter would that be ? Many more storms and nonstop cold and snow would be far more awesome .

Nei wasn't wrong at the time he posted it. The totals are still increasing in some areas. There's also a report of 40 inches in Hamden. Portland, Maine has gotten 32 inches, which smashes their previous all-time record snowstorm.

I'd also like to remind everyone reading that I'm mainly posting in the general winter thread rather than this one.
