Tórshavn - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Novosibirsk - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's interesting, which climate do you prefer, Tórshavn, which is one of the cloudiest inhabited places in the world, doesn't have a summer and which winters are very mild for this latitude, or Novosibirsk, which is much colder in the winter, much warmer in the summer and much sunnier?
Man, this is a tough one. I hate snow, and too much rain... And while I like cool year-round temperatures, Torshavn is taking that to an extreme
If forced though, I think I'd choose Torshavn. The couple months of warmer summer weather in Novosibirsk just can't quite make up for those awful winters.
Novosibirsk because it actually has summers and the winters aren't too insanely cold but they are still cold and pretty long. I'm willing to bet Novosibirsk is significantly sunnier in all seasons as well so that is a major plus.
Although Tórshavn is extreme cloudy, it isn't extreme rainy. Sydney, for example, gets not much less rainfall. Sochi (despite being one of the sunniest cities in European Russia) gets even more. The rainiest city in Europe is Bergen: Bergen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Novosibirsk, even though the winters are rather too severe for my tastes. But at least they have a real winter and a real summer. On the other hand, the Faroe Islands is just like a chilly and damp year round autumn.
