Dry air with the temps around 28C is very comfortable under a shade.

I like sunshine when it's below 55 and shade when it's above 80, but I'm not too picky. I find that shade isn't very useful for keeping cool if it's humid outside, but it still has the benefit of preventing sunburn.

Anything much above 90-92 degrees F or so. To me the perfect summer day is in the mid 80s.
