I want "cold" to be non-existent in winter and "cool" to be non-existent in summer.

I think 28 C (82 F) would be great in winter and something between 32-39 C (90-104 F) would be good in summer;
preferably dry summer heat though so that's probably an impossible climate, but we are talking ideals here.
I'd also like long shoulder seasons (spring/autumn) with days between 29-33 C (84-92 F)

Best guess is the 5-9 C annual temperature range because I would probably get bored with no temperature variation.

Ah, I see what the OP means. Since I neglected to vote in the poll, I'll revise my answer. My dream climate's average in January is -5.5F (-20.8C) and the average in July is 54.5F (+12.5C), yielding a variation of 33.3C.

My dream climate averages -5°C/23°F in January and 25.5°C/78°F in July, so a 30.5°C/55°F range for me.

If I'm not sweating my %$@ off on August 14 and walking through snow on February 14, it's not an ideal climate

Give me 25c-27c high temps and 17c-19c low temps year round and I would be happy.

I hate being too warm and hate being too cool.

25c highs with varying humidity levels would be perfect.

Goma with warmer lows and more sunshine:

My dream climate's coldest monthly mean is -5.5 C and the warmest monthly mean is 15 C. So the variation is 20.5 C.

My dream climate has a mean of around -3C in Jan and around 22C in July, so that makes 25C.

I actually get around 23C, but that doesn't mean I live even close to my dream climate.

I doubt your highest monthly mean temperature is anywhere near 23C. 23C average high seems not unlikely though.

The more variation, the better for me! Around 50C would be amazing. So, for instance, the hottest month's 24-hour average is 25C and the coldest month is around -25C.
