The trees are like clockwork here. No matter how warm or cold the spring is, the trees always starts to bloom in early May. Probably quite normal in colder areas. The trees apparently play it safe if it suddenly gets colder again.
Yeah relatively like clockwork, but also based quite a bit on the temperatures. Last winter was extremely mild and we barely had any snow, trees were starting to bud in JANUARY. I looked at the lilac tree mid January and there was buds all over it; and they died when it got colder which is probably the reason why the lilac was terrible last summer.

As for fluorescent green, I find it appropriate in spring. By mid-June though, it would feel weird not to have the darker summer dye.

The spring has really got a move on here. About 3 days ago there were no leaves no the trees have buds and there are alot of flowers coming out. It just came like that.
