Yeah relatively like clockwork, but also based quite a bit on the temperatures. Last winter was extremely mild and we barely had any snow, trees were starting to bud in JANUARY. I looked at the lilac tree mid January and there was buds all over it; and they died when it got colder which is probably the reason why the lilac was terrible last summer.

Nice pics from Philly, I like the buildings on the second photo of post #174.
As for fluorescent green, I find it appropriate in spring. By mid-June though, it would feel weird not to have the darker summer dye.

Ah, a beautiful 71F day in southeastern PA!

As a side note, I truly do feel for you guys in the upper midwest and great plains who are putting up with such crappy weather this month!

The spring has really got a move on here. About 3 days ago there were no leaves no the trees have buds and there are alot of flowers coming out. It just came like that.
