Vostok Station easily.

... Of course I'm kidding. There's a reason nobody lives on Antarctica. IT'S TOO COLD!!! Even if you're a cold lover, if you don't pick San Diego you have some issues...

People on here are so hard up. What's with all the insults and aggro directed at the OP? It's the internet, nobody actually cares what anyone else does unless your life revolves around it. I like your climate battles, keep them going, it's no worse than my Venus vs Vostok thread which, surprisingly, didn't receive complaints, nor was I insulted.

Obviously San Diego.

San Diego, and I'm not a cold lover. San Diego still gets cold enough for many cold lovers. Winter/spring days are usually like 65F, and nights are cool year-round.

Whoever picked Vostok Station please explain, unless you were just joking around. And I really hope you were (I'm assuming you were, but hey, you never know...)

No, I think it's real and it probably was a hardcore cold lover. Each to their own but I would like them come on here and justify -100 F on a regular basis in winter and no temps above 0 F in an average summer. That means you can never go outside wearing normal clothes.
I could understanding a hardcore cold lover picking Oymyakon (see my other poll at //www.city-data.com/forum/weath...onolulu-2.html ) because 1) people (families with kids) do live there on a regular basis and there are ways of dealing with -60 F but only scientists live at Vostok and they have to have very specialized gear in winter) AND there's also a nice, warm summer to look forward to.

I would like that person to post on here (I'm pretty sure I know who it is) and to justify their choice.

The fact is that, not only Vostok is unberarbly incredibly deathly cold, but San Diego is one of the most comfortable climates on earth. Its hard to hate it, despite your personal preferences, cause it doestn get any type of extreme temp, it doesnt get too hot or too cold, or even "hot" or "cold". So, yeah, this is one of those polls thats bound to end up 100%-0% understandably.

Now, vostok vs dallol, ethiopia, would get another result for sure

People even live in the south pole which is not THAT cold from November to February - I have seen temps like that this year -40.8c at 7:00 AM in Gilliam MB.

Looks like one of Kaul's troll accounts has voted for Vostok Station.
