Thats annoying is the average high not like 28c there lol?

When it snows in england they make a massive fuss. Theres this show called daybreak and they focused a whole 15 minutes about the two inches that fell in december?Apparently england closed schools aswell.. like seriously with 2 inches catch yourselves on.No offence to them but we get that amount of snow quite alot and so its not really that much. Infact it shouldnt be causing disruption. We dont get A look in nor does scotland.

People who live above 300m would be laughing at them.

Its hideous. They report every single time it snows and call it the "big freeze". What 4c is a big freeze?

Clearly not.

They even made a report about the snow that fell in nyc a few months ago - nyc actually missed out. Like 4 inches saying they were getting a "horrific blizzard". Hahahh horrific my arse.

It makes us look like wimps. When the big snows came in 2010 I went to school every single day until they closed. My dad was out diggin gthe snow at 6 so we could get to school. I bet in london theyd close down the whole city.

The attitude around here is "its nothing get on with it". People dont act like wimps. They are very conservative.

Neil Bennett, who sometimes fills in on ABC, is a real meteorologist whose regular day job is at the BoM. I don't know the 2 commercial presenters you refer to, but I know someone who used to work for one of the commercial weather companies and she had to be trained when she joined BoM.
