I vote leeds but both are equal. I pick Leeds because I heard that PNW is bad for summer thunderstorms
PNW gets NO summer thunderstorms. Some summers may be slightly wet but there are are almost no thunderstorms. Last summer there was no rain for 50 days.

I wouldn't say it that absolutely. They're rare but they can happen. Last July there was a good week-long spell of convection/thunderstorms in the PNW lowlands. There was actually a lot of lightning.
I'd hardly say Vancouver has a hot summer, it's much sunnier yes, but only slightly warmer. Those averages on wiki are wrong for Leeds, I'm pretty sure wikis averages are for Leeds Bradford airport which is cooler. Leeds City averages around 21C in July and August.
I chose Vancouver anyway for the Sunshine, not the temperature
I find it funny that one could think that summer exists in Vancouver and not Leeds, when the only appreciable difference is in sunshine and not temperature. There are people all over the world who could easily consider London to be a summerless city, but then again I have come to expect nothing but unadulterated nonsense from the posts of B87.
The Church Fenton averages are much closer to reality, if anything, Leeds will have warmer averages, especially at night when you take the urban heat island into account, the first ones quoted are almost certainly for Leeds Bradford Airport, and even then the figures look slightly too cool, and are probably 1961 - 1990 averages. Again, I did figure out an average between 1986 and 2003 (the years when Leeds Weather Centre was active), and the average highs in both July and August were above 21C, and the average lows above 12C. The 1981 - 2010 averages will probably be similar, or warmer when you take 2006 into account.
Just to get my point across, have a look at both stations in August 1995..
A very large difference. Leeds Bradford is the highest commercial airport in the British Isles. I don't expect to convince anyone that summers in Leeds are better than summers in Vancouver, Vancouver summers are closer to my ideal, just clearing up a few misconceptions.

22C (23C in the city) just about counts as summer. Leeds gets 21C in the heat island and 19C in the suburbs, and is much wetter and cloudier than Vancouver. What exactly is this 'unadulterated nonsense' that you speak of? Everything I've posted on here about London's climate can be proven by just looking at the averages.
So the warmest August on record in the centre of Leeds can pass as a once-every-5 years August down south. My ideal climate is a subtropical/med one anyway.
Trying to make assertions about London's warmth and how it matches up to certain place - such as your pathetic attempt to claim that London and LA are comparable in summer, when looking at the immediate coast only. Personally I couldn't care less what your arbitrary definition of a summer is, the difference is absolutely minimal. The heat island is only notable at night anyway, days probably don't very much, and nowhere in Leeds will average below 20C as an average high in summer, Leeds Bradford is as cool as it gets, and there is no doubt in my mind that the average high at Leeds Bradford will be firmly above 20C now. Leeds isn't 'much wetter' at any time of the year, either, so I have no idea where you keep pulling this ridiculous crap from.
I said that London summer highs are as warm as the summers on LA's coast (which is true). I said nothing about London being the same as the whole of LA in summer, infact I said that downtown had warm summers.
