The Wettest and Driest Summers in the World (precipitation, Canada, USA)

I am defining how wet and dry the summer is by how much of annual precipitation falls in the summer.

Here are the top 3 for North America:

1) Northway, AK (near where the Alaska highway crosses into the Yukon) =61%
2) Kuparuk, AK (way up in the middle of BF nowhere) =59%
3) Nabesna, AK =59%
4) Fort Assiniboine, Alberta =59%
5) Salcha, AK =58%
6) Burwash Landing, Yukon =58%

This seems pretty impressive until you look at Mumbai where 82% of annual precipitation occurs in the summer months. I'm not sure this counts because it's inside the tropics, so let's ignore that one. Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia might be in the running at 67%.

The driest summers in the USA are in California:
GIBRALTAR DAM , CA = 0.10% of precipitation occurs in the summer.
NEWHALL, CA =0.11%
LIVERMORE MUNI AP, CA 0.32%

The lowest in Canada is Port Alberni, BC on Vancouver Island at 6.3%. Interesting how both the wettest and driest summers in Canada and the USA are in the west.

I haven't looked that extensively elsewhere in the world. That's where you folks come in.
