I love Southern Florida.
I usually select the cold ones but like subzero temps for 10 months of the year. No thank you.

So Miami.

A few hardcore heat and humidity haters, snow/cold lovers, or thunderphobics may choose Alert over Miami but yeah, I expected this poll to be rather lopsided.

Check out these two polls: //www.city-data.com/forum/weath...osa-vs-st.html

Please don't apply your personal bias to that climate. People are less cold averse than you give us credit for. If there was a huge mine up there, the place would be at least inhabited like the mines out in Australia's Outback which is less hospitable than the Arctic.

But, I'd pick Miami. Alert is too far north for me, I'd need an incentive to live that far away

Pretty sure Patricius would vote for Alert given that he or she voted for the South Pole over San Diego and I respect his or her opinion .
Different strokes for different folks..

I dislike Miami Beach's climate because it's too hot and humid year-round, but I'd rather have that than year round cold and snow. And not to mention 4 months of no sun at all. So Miami Beach it is.
