Last month I posted about the harvest moon and how much I like full moons! My dh thinks I'm crazy but oh, well.... I think this month's moon is called the Hunter's moon!

Last night I saw the most amazing amount of moonlight!

My backard was lit up so bright that when standing outside I had a shadow as sharp and dark as standing in the sun. I love to see places lit up in a silvery glow. It was almost half as bright as day. I could even clearly read our pool's thermometer without turning on any lights at 1 am.

Probably won't see it tonight. Forecast rain and overcast lasting at least until tommorrow. It was a great show while it lasted. No complaints here.

It's beautiful! I am blessed to be in North Carolina so I could see it from the top of a mountain, awesome!

Good thing it's not raining too, (at the moment) or else you might not be able to see it.
