Sydney for me. An easy choice as I'm not a fan of cold winters. Toronto has nice summers but 6/7 months of what I would consider winter temps and with a cloudy winter.
Sydney has become one of my favorite climates. And even though summers may not seem sufficiently warm, there are location more inland that get warmer summers (and less precipitation). Definitely an A-grade climate.
Toronto isn't bad is you like four seasons but personally I like places with milder and shorter winters.
It's a small town,
closer to the equator than Sydney, marginally warmer and has a fantastic salt water harbor area ("Lake" Macquarie) which is excellent for swimming 6 months a year and fishing all year round.
