If there was a reality show where you took attractive, single people from a tropical climate who had never seen snow or even experienced temperatures less than 55 f (Let's say Singapore, Bangkok, or something like that) and had them stay with a family in an extreme winter climate like Winnepeg, Yellowknife, or Fairbanks for a month, would you watch the show? Would you even find it interesting? Imagine the shock of going from thinking 70 F is cold to experiencing -20 on a regular basis. Add in some people drama, and the show would be a winner!
It sounds like it could work, but it's hard to imagine it as a whole series. Maybe better as a one off, or with different people/situations each episode.

It would depend on the situations involved- the people drama would have to be interesting- the weather alone won't carry the season.
With very few exceptions, I find reality TV to be crude and uninteresting, and this hypothetical show would be no exception. It's just not a genre that I like to view.

Exactly. Young, attracting (or not) fake blondes and guidos in Singapore, who are shocked that the temps are higher than their IQ is nothing for me.
