Significantly worse in what way? Depends on what you like and don't like.
Isn't it obvious that I'm talking about my own preferences in a climate battle thread?
Most of USA is either very humid in summer, really cold in winter or (semi-)arid. Europe does have a sunshine problem though, but only in the mid to high latitudes, but other than sunshine, Europe is king.
Valencia/Malaga are 2.5-3 hours away, Canary Islands 4 hours. Not as warm as the Bahamas though. Mexico does have some fantastic beaches. I actually prefer the beaches on the Atlantic side, particularly in SW France, unfortunately the Atlantic isn't as warm on our side, you ba*****rds get the warm current in summer
No one should halt you for saying that, it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Everyone has varying weather preferences. I find most of Europe too cool and cloudy in summer.
Spain has great climates. The US has no Malaga.

I'm stating mine.
I agree about the humid part, some of us like that. You live in what I would call a really cold climate, and not just in winter. Heck, you don't even have a summer by my preferences. The vast majority of the US has warmer winters than where you live. Heck, even Chicago is warmer in winter and that is one cold climate. They get much better summers than Sweden though.
And if most of the USA has really cold winters, then what about most of Europe when my winters are warmer than Central and Eastern Europe? I live in a colder US climate.
Nowhere in the US can match the climate of Lampedusa. Very dry, but a low diurnal range and high dewpoints.
Summer looks really good, but winter is too cool. If you are gonna have high dewpoints though, you need thunderstorms to make it worthwhile dealing with the sweat lol.
