Climate statistics for Australian locations

Annual average high is 29 C (85 F) and annual average low is 22 C (72 F).
It's pretty much a desert island version of Townville, Queensland
as even the summer average daily dewpoints are similar around 23 C (73 F)

Nearby Karratha, Western Australia seems to be
3 C (6 F) warmer for the average highs and record highs
2 C (4 F) cooler for the average lows

I have been doing some work offshore near Barrow Island and so far, I love it.
I suspect I would love Spring and Autumn, like winter somewhat and dislike summer, but only slightly.

A. Excellent climate. Record high is 45C so unlike most island climates has a bit of variety to the temps.

I would think well over 3000 hours. The nearest station at Karratha (Dampier Port) averages 3723 hours per year.

Barrow Island also has the notorious distinction of recording the highest ever officially measured windspeed on Earth, that is 408km/h during Cyclone Olivia on 10th April 1996.

I have been up here for 5 days and I have not seen obstructed sunshine at all.
Just some haze going a few hundred metres above the sea which keeps us cooler than the mainland.

B. I wouldn't mind the winters to be a bit cooler while the whole year is just too dry.
