For London at least weatheronline.co.uk often gives more moderate temperatures for the 3-7 day range than actually end up happening in real life, and it was regularly overestimating the abnormally low temperatures we had in March. I only use it on here because the graphics are better than the Met Office forecasts and it gives the sunrise/sunset times. Plus the Met Office gives specific forecasts for Hampstead that are slightly different from the general London ones.

That site is inaccurate it always always overestimates the temperatures way over the top. I use GFS it is really really accurate.

But that site is predicting lower temperatures by a lot. Maybe the overestimate is UK specific.

Some sites overestimate because they think the sea has more of an impact than it does.

Weatheronline usually underestimates during warm spells.

Just use the website of your official weather authority. Third party sites tend to just give random numbers. For example, for all Australian forecasts, one should use Australia's official weather forecasts & weather radar - Bureau of Meteorology, not wunderground, weatherchannel.com, foreca, weatheronline, BBC etc.

One useful site that takes the *official* forecast from each country's respective met organisation is the World Meteorological Organisation. World Weather Information Service - Official Observations. Official Forecasts.

I don't know what weather people get paid, but I sure wish I could be wrong at my job so often and still have it.
