Tarnów, as it has proper seasons, unlike the other. One of the better climates of Poland, though it's quite cloudy for my liking and has very tame record highs. It still easily beats anything France has to offer, let alone the disgrace that is Brest.

Tough... Not a fan of snow, yet the summer months are a good deal better than Brest's oceanic summer.

Brest, but only narrowly and only because I hate "walk like a penguin" winters.

Well, even if Brest is one of the least sunny, most cloudy, and with the coolest summers areas in France; I shoose it because I unitially though that this Polish city should have much warmer summers, wich would compensate the colder winters that we could expect from a much more continental climate.

The problem is that, when watching the averages for Tarnow; its seems that its summers are not warmer than Paris's (which is to me the limit for a correct summer temperature.); and it does even has less sun hours than Brest in July (and much less in winter, which I didn't expected). Tarnow winters are definitly much too cold for my tastes; so, I'll shoose Brest.

Central Europe is very cloudy in winter, more so than western Europe, where the cloud cover breaks up more often. Even in France, Brest has sunnier winters than Paris or Strasbourg.

Anything with an average below 7C is cold in my eyes.

Tarnow. At leasts it has proper seasons, even if winter is too long and too cold.
I know Brest, the climate is simply horrible. Restaurant terraces are heated in july !
ocean temperature maximum is 16° C (in August)!
