Here in Vancouver, at the airport's weather station, the record high was set during the heatwave of July 2009. The temperature got up to 34°C (93.2°F) which broke the previous record, and then the following day it got up to 34.4°C (93.9°F) which broke the previous day's record. At the downtown weather station, the record high is 35°C (95°F) which was recorded three times in Vancouver's history, the latest being in 1983.

Back in my hometown of Saskatoon the record high is 40.6°C (105.1°F), and was set back in June 1988.

Canada 45 °C (113 °F) Midale/Sweetgrass, Saskatchewan

The highest I experienced in Moose Jaw 39C August 7, 2001. (though that reading was taken out of the plains...in our valley the temp was around 44C).

The highest my city ever record was 41.7 Aug 6, 1949 (again in our valley them temps would have been 46.7 around and about since there would be UHI and the valley traps heat very well).
