Phoenix is unbearable, 3 months with averag max over 40ºC, no thanks.

New orleans for me, although it's too hot as well.

i think 3 summer months in new orleans with their humidity may be just as bad if not worse

New Orleans is an easy winner. Dry and hot isn't for me.

I guess I'll have to start playing the slide trombone then.

I'll be the pianist. I am quite good at "Basin Street Blues". A basic version mind.

Blech, if I'm stuck with hot, will have to go with the not-humid hot. Stop making me vote for Phoenix, guys

New Orleans.

Much more interesting for me in the way of rain and storms and even though it's more humid, I doubt it's any more uncomfortable than Phoenix in summer.

Phoenix. I tend to cope better with dry heat rather than humidity. Also much higher record lows so far more suited to growing palm trees.

New Orleans more interesting climatically, geographically and culturally.
