Lyon, the least maritime. I've lived there briefly, and even if summers are only about 4°F warmer than Paris, the difference is quite noticeable. I guess it's the magic 80/60°F mark. It's also rainier and sunnier in the same time, but has similarly cloudy winters. Winters, albeit slightly cooler than Paris, feel similar. They're foggier though, at least near the Rhône.
Now that's a nice summer month.
I would have gone with metro areas, ditching Nice for Lille, as city limits are a rather arbitrary metric. Plus Nice is most likely going to win by a landslide.

Well Lille is very similar to Paris and in the same climate zone, so it's more interesting to include Nice (though the same could be said of Marseille/Nice). Well it's my hometown so it stays
