22°C, partly cloudy and a nice breeze. Quite pleasant but too warm for any activities.

23°C

partly cloudy

just noticed that the swedish weather institute have introduced a new warning classification for heatwaves.

"Notice of heat wave: The forecast shows that the maximum temperature is at least 26 ° C for three days in succession.
*
Class 1 warning heatwave: The forecast shows that the maximum temperature is at least 30 ° C for three days in succession.
*
Class 2 warning for heat wave: Class 1 warning issued and forecast that the period of maximum temperatures at least 30 ° C may be longer than 5 days and / or the maximum temperature is at least 33 ° C for three days in succession."

quiet high treesholds... doubt we even get a class 1 warning this summer.

Has Sweden ever even had a spell of weather that would be in the class 2?

Probably sometimes. We had one in 2011, 2010, 2003 and 1972. 1994, 1977, 1975, 1964 and 1963 had 4 days in a row above 30C. None in the 80's. So not very common here.

I think that those criteria are way too high. 28C is quite good for a 'Scandinavian heatwave'.

23.7C and windy here.
mostly cloudy.
